The Aftermath of moving

Wow, like I stated before the easy part of moving is Buying the Real Estate (the Home).

I have to thank Brad Watwood and Gary Adamson and Jeff Gatlin for the help of moving treasures to the new home.  Brad and Gary were work horse on Saturday.  I also have to thank my Mom and Dad for watching the kids while we got the treasures into the right areas.  I would also like to thank Amy and Ehrin for watching the kids.

The journey of moving was one that I hope does not happen for many many decades.  There are boxes everywhere.  My wife has been awesome and got the kitchen in order.  You think you have everything done in one room and start moving to the next room and discover that there is one box that should have gone back to the room you just left.  Then you start move furniture in that room again, because you think it might look better in a different spot. 

I am thinking that we should get all the boxes emptied by December... 2011.

Moving Day

Being a Realtor and helping people find either their first home or dream home is really a great joy.  I have systems that make buying a home easier for them.  I personally bought a home back in November of 2009.  The Systems were in place and it was a smooth process to buy the home.  Now that my family and I have finished working on our new home, we are getting ready to move in to our new home.  I forgot how hard it is to pack. 

I am a keeper of Treasures, my wife calls it trash.  So cleaning out old files, magazines... okay trash is not so fun. 

The biggest pain is coordinating the hooking up of Telephone and Internet and Direct TV.  Which in the bigger picture it really should not matter that they could be there between Monday and Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.  I have to unpack anyways. 

Then the worst part is I am sure that my wife will be going through all my treasures trying to throw away all of those precious moments and treasures. (TRASH).

Why do they call it a Sleep Over if no one Sleeps

Savannah, my daughter, had her first Sleep Over.  The biggest question I have is why is it called a Sleep Over if no one sleeps.  Actually it went very well.  I guess the hardest part is trying to get 3 little girls to stop talking and just be quiet.  I think it was about 11:30 p.m. before it became quiet.  The funniest part I think is that they all got up at the same time.  I am hoping that the Rewards of a Sleep Over is Nap-time.  please, please.
