The other day, my wife noticed that milk prices were about the same as the price of gas per gallon. Which to I replied yes. After some further thought I went back and looked at the price of gas back in July of 2008 and compared it to the price of milk. It was very close indeed. In fact, gas was $3.59 and milk was around $3.50 per gallon.
I would love to hear some thoughts on why that is? I also would like to see if that comparison is close to other regions of the country, like Hawaii, and New York? So please send me an email and let me know what you think?
