The Real Estate Market is turning

Wow!!!  What a week.  The stock market is moving, the Fed is lowering Interest Rates to Banks, and Interest Rates for buying a home are bouncing all around. 

So what does mean to me?  It means that now may be the time to have a Realtor evaluate your position to move into your first home or move up to a better home.  Banks are stating that they have removed half of their inventory and the means that the deals on foreclosures may start becoming less.

It is the law of Supply and Demand, simply said.  Think about it, if half the inventory is sold of homes that means there will be less foreclosures and that means we are about to be at the bottom, or it is even starting to move upward.  So check out www.pikespeakregion.com and click on Buy a home.   Then call me at 719-687-1534 and lets evaluate if it makes sense to move before the market turns higher.

The Sky is falling and the government will save us?!

Way to go FED, lower the interest again.  This will save us, America and the World. 

I am writing this to say stop and listen to the whole story. 

The Fed by dropping the rate today only helps the banks, the government, and the rich.

Think about it, better yet look at your credit card statement, or you car loan or your student loan.  Will the banks or government pass this rate cut to you the consumer.  No, no they will not.  Why?  It is about the money.  The banks get to borrow this money from the government so that they can pad their losses or another make larger gains.

I am here to tell you to STOP!!!

It is time for Americans to take care of America.  The government has let the average American suffer.  It is time to stop out doing the neighbor.  Now is a time to stay focused on your budget and stay below your budget.  Take some responsiblity...Now is your time to rise to the occasion.  Start saving your money, Pay off your debts as fast as you can.  Stop drinking coffee at Starbucks, also known as FiveBucks.  Watch what banks are buying, and buy these items if possible, or if you are in a position to do so.

 

Weather in the Pikes Peak Region

Wow, yesterday in Colorado Springs it was mild 74 degrees, and in Woodland Park the high was 55 degrees.  Today, Sunday March 2, 2008.  It is a Blizzard outside and the temperature as of 3:00 PM has not yet reached above 30 degrees. 

So what you say... I tell why it is important you could have golfed yesterday and been skiing today in fresh powder.  Just another benefit of living in the mountains of Colorado.  The best part it is it will be sunny and about 42 degrees and the snow will be mostly gone tomorrow.  All this happens in one weekend.
